Two Middle Atlantic PGA Professionals Receive PGA of America Awards
Two MAPGA Professionals were named to the the 2025 PGA of America Awards Class. The PGA of America recognizes 13 award recipients annually for their accomplishments and efforts within the golf industry. The award recipients were recognized during the 72nd PGA Show, held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
Jason Epstein, PGA (Congressional Country Club) received the 2025 Bill Strausbaugh Award, which recognizes a PGA of America Golf Professional who demonstrates exceptional character, integrity and leadership through teaching and mentoring other PGA of America Golf Professionals. Epstein has dedicated nearly 30 years to serving his peers, and he has guided over 70 individuals to become PGA of America Golf Professionals. He also has been awarded the Middle Atlantic PGA Bill Strausbaugh Award twice (2021,2023).
Adam Relan, PGA (Bide-A-Wee Golf Course) was given the 2025 Patriot Award. This award goes to a PGA Golf Professional who personifies patriotism through the game of golf and demonstrates unwavering commitment and deviation to the men and women who have valiantly served and protected the United States of America. Along with serving on two committees for the MAPGA, Relan is also an active member of the Association’s National PGA HOPE Committee. He also created the PGA HOPE Pro-Am as a fundraiser at Bide-A-Wee to benefit the MAPGA HOPE Foundation.
