Dear Middle Atlantic Members and Associates,

It is an honor to have the opportunity to serve as your District 10 Director on the National Board of the PGA of America. I have been a member of the Section for the past 28 years, and realize the importance of giving back to the association that supports us. I have had the honor of serving the Section in several previous capacities as a Golf Professional and Active Member, including the position of Section A-8 Director 1996 – 1998, Central Chapter Director-At-Large 2000 – 2001, Central Chapter Vice President 2002-2003, Central Chapter President 2004-2005, and the past eight years as the Section Secretary, Vice President, President and Honorary President. In addition to these positions, I have served on many committees at the Chapter and Section level. Given my history of service in the Section, it should be evident that my involvement in the PGA is one of my passions.

I have had the privilege to work under two previous leaders of the Section as an Assistant Professional. I worked for Past President, Rod Thompson and Central Chapter Past President, Glenn Brown. My mentoring and work experiences while employed by these gentlemen helped give me the knowledge, insight and guidance in the workings of the Section and the PGA of America.

Now elected, my focus will be to provide effective communication between our Sections, to push more resources in areas to grow the game of golf and educational opportunities for all Members and employment and club relations. I will also work with the other board members to maintain fiscal responsibility of the national budget. With the backing and support of my family, staff and club board, it is a great honor to be able to invest my time and energy into this new responsibility whole-heartedly.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions and thanks for your support.
