Larkin and Paige Gross are two of our four Assistant Professionals who qualified for the National Car Rental Assistant PGA Professional Championship that is being played November 14-17 at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, FL.
They are making MAPGA and also PGA of America history by being the first married couple to compete together in the Championship. Larkin (Westwood CC) has competed in the Championship five times, but this was Paige’s (Club at Creighton Farms) first appearance in the event.
Larkin shot a total score of -3 during the 2024 National Car Rental MAPGA Assistant Championship at Columbia Country Club in August, and Paige finished with a total score of +3 after a second round 67 to propel her into the event in November. They both had incredible 2024 seasons as Larkin was named the MAPGA APA Player of the Year for his third consecutive season, competed in the 2024 PGA Championship at Valhalla, and tied a competitive course record en route to a T3 finish during the Section Professional Championship. During her 2024 season, Paige also won the Women’s Section Championship, and she competed in the 2024 LPGA Professional Championship.
