PGA REACH - Middle Atlantic is the 501(c)(3) charitable foundation of the PGA of America. The mission of PGA REACH is to positively impact the lives of youth, military, and diverse populations by enabling access to PGA Professionals, PGA Sections and the game of golf.

Since its inception in 1990, PGA REACH Middle Atlantic has gained prominence by providing some of the best junior golf opportunities in the region for all skill levels and ages. Reaching more than 2,500 junior golfers annually, PGA REACH Middle Atlantic believes that the values and skills learned through junior golf can positively impact a child for the rest of their life.

With six different tournament programs, PGA REACH Middle Atlantic is proud to help grow this great game and create lifelong golfers.

PGA REACH Middle Atlantic also believes in the value of education and awarding college scholarships. The MAPGA Foundation awards over $80,000 annually to deserving young individuals. Click here to find out more about our scholarships.

The Military Pillar of PGA REACH Middle Atlantic provides golf as a therapeutic rehabilitation tool for all military Veterans and helps raise money for educational support to spouses and children of America’s fallen and wounded soldiers.  Our primary program to support this cause is PGA HOPE (Helping our Patriots Everywhere), which runs through chapters in various parts of the Section.

Currently PGA REACH Middle Atlantic also helps local organizations that are run by PGA Professionals who are impacting our military every day. Our goal will always remain to assist our PGA Professionals in this pillar both with our time and resources.

A few of our local programs include the Links to Freedom Fort Belvoir, and the Salute Military Golf Association (SMGA).

As the leaders in growing the game of golf, PGA REACH Middle Atlantic helps local organizations introduce the game to as many people as possible and supports consumer events looking to add a fun element at their event.

Currently PGA REACH Middle Atlantic works with the following organizations and events. If you or your organization would like to have the MAPGA be a part of your event, please contact us at midatl@pgahq.com
