PGA Junior League
PGA Junior League Golf is a fun, social and inclusive opportunity for boys and girls ages 13 and under to learn and enjoy the game of golf. Much like other recreational league sports, participants wear numbered jerseys and play on teams with their friends.
The program structure is a fun team scramble format for players of every skill level. All participants get to play in every competition. The MAPGA runs a spring/summer and fall program.
Currently, PGA Professionals are putting teams together for the 2nd Annual Fall League. Contact your PGA Professional to see if your facility is putting a team together.
For PGA Professionals, Click Here to register your team.
Based off the number of teams that register our goal is that each team has between 3-5 matches before the playoffs. The regular season will run from Mid-Aug to Late September, with playoffs and championship matches taking place in October. The MAPGA will host the Final Four teams in late October to crown a champion.
- Season starts Mid-August
- Matches Completed by Oct. 2
- Playoffs in October
Cost: $150 administrative fee per team. This fee will cover the expenses and prizes for the final four teams at the Championship. Expect 3-4 matches per league and charge your players accordingly, similar to what you charged for Spring/Summer.
Jerseys: No new jerseys will be issued, if you were previously a part of Junior League you can use the same jersey as before. If not, please contact the Section office.
The MAPGA is proud to have the largest number of PGA Professionals in the country support PGA Junior League. With over 200 teams in the Virginia/Maryland area, PGA Junior League is perfect for junior golfers looking to play golf with their friends in a team environment.
